Your trust is important to us at Swedish Northcom AB (below named as Northcom). It is therefore important that you as a customer feel confident in how we handle the information we have about you and the company you are working for.

We therefore want to make sure that we process these data correctly - both legally and ethically.

How do we collect data?

We collect information about you in different ways, such as when:

  • You want answers to questions from us
  • Request a quote
  • Posting an order
  • Register as a customer or contact person with us

We also collect information about you when you volunteer to fill in any of the forms we use, if you participate in any training, customer event or contest that we arrange.

Information about using northcom.se is collected through so-called Cookies. This kind of information is only stored in your browser and you can completely avoid this by not allowing cookies. The purpose of these Cookies is only to customize and optimize your experience of our website on a regular basis.

In order to protect your privacy, we are constantly trying to minimize the amount of information we collect in order to fulfill our commitments to you as a customer.

  • Phone number for your workplace and your mobile phone (work)
  • E-mail address (work)
  • Visiting address to your workplace

Sometimes we may also need to collect credit information about your company from any of our partners in this area.

How do we use your information?

How much, and what "other" information you want to share, you control yourself by making your choices. When you choose to subscribe to information from us, you should know that you can cancel your subscription easily or at any time, or change the choices you made.

How do we store the data and how long?

All of the data we store electronically is protected by our company network, and at one of our proven cloud service providers. Storage always complies with our security practices for managing information - regardless of where the storage is.

The information we collected about you and your company is saved during the time that is our customer and for that time thereafter, which is necessary to comply with laws and requirements - such as the accounting laws.

Do we share your information?

Normally, we will never share with us the information we have about you or your business with someone else without our consent. Exceptions to this normal routine could be:

  • If we need to make a credit report of your company
  • If it is a must to offer you better prices or service from our suppliers

However, such sharing of information will never happen automatically.

Desubscribe of your subscription

In all our electronic communications with you that are beyond the scope of our contractual obligations such as quotes, orders, service and maintenance, you as a customer can easily unsubscribe by following the termination links found in our communications.

Get an extract or correct / delete your data

You can request an extract from the information we have about you at any time. If you do not want to appear in Northcoms registry, please ask us to delete all information about you legally possible to delete. In order for us to delete your information, you also need to be able to identify you.

If you believe that an assignment is incorrect or incomplete, you may request us to correct the assignment as soon as possible. In our webshop you can correct your information yourself.

About this policy

We at Northcom will continuously update our privacy policy to meet the laws and regulations that apply. When we make changes to the policy, we will publish a notice on our website along with the updated privacy policy.
